从词源透视中国古代城市空间特征

摘要

City, was intended to build a set of defense around cities structures, and shows the implication of military defense functions by sword. By analyzing the figure of ＂City＂, ＂Guo＂, ＂Guo＂, ＂Du＂, ＂Bi＂, ＂Yi＂ from etymology, the form physical space of the Chinese ancient city in the early stages of formation, the paper expounds the characteristics of urban space created by material entity in ancient China, the function＇ s leading role in the course of formation of the ancient city, as well as the regional ideas with strong levels.%城．本意是指围绕城邑建造的一整套防御构筑物．体现了以戈守城的军事防御功能。本文从词源学的角度对代表中国古代城市形成初期物质空间形态的“城”、“郭”、“国”．“都”、“鄙”、“邑”等字形进行解析，阐释古代城市所表达的物质实体创造的空间特征，古代城市形成的功能导向作用．以及具有强烈等级的区域观念。
