PP/EPDM-g-MAH/CaCO3晶须复合材料的性能研究

         

摘要

采用高剪切应力和添加引发剂的复合引发方法制备了EPDM-g-MAH,将其单独或与CaCO3晶须协同改性PP.通过滴定分析、红外表征和熔体流动速率测定方法研究了175℃条件下螺杆转速对EPDM-g-MAH的熔体流动速率、接枝率的影响.探讨了EPDM-g-MAH和碳酸钙晶须用量对PP力学性能、热变形温度的影响.结果表明:二元共混材料PP/EPDM-g-MAH在弹性体用量为30 phr时缺口冲击强度为9.85 kJ/m2,是纯PP的1.97倍,热变形温度呈下降趋势;三元共混材料PP/EPDM-g-MAH/CaCO3晶须比二元共混材料具有更好的力学性能,在碳酸钙晶须用量为20 phr时缺口冲击强度达到最大值12.94 kJ/m2,是纯PP的2.59倍,此时共混体系的热变形温度最佳.%The melting-grafting of maleic anhydride ( MAH ) onto ethylene-octene copolymer ( EPDM ) through adding a certain initiator and increasing the screw rotation speed were investigated,and the graft prod-ucts were used to improve the mechanical properties of polypropylene or with calcium carbonate. The grafting level and the melt flow rate were studied by titration analysis,FT-IR and determination of melt flow rate at 175 degrees centigrade. The mechanical properties and the heat distortion temperature of polypropylene composites were discussed. The results showed that the notched impact strength of PP/EPDM-g-MAH blends was 9. 85 kJ/m2 and 1. 97 times of pure PP when the content of elastomer was 30phr,the thermal deformation temperature of PP/EPDM-g-MAH showed a downward trend;the notched impact strength of PP/EPDM-g-MAH/CaCO3 whisker ternary composites was better than that of PP/EPDM-g-MAH blends,which was 12. 94kJ/m2 and 2. 59 times of pure PP when the content of CaCO3 whisker was 20 phr, the thermal deformation temperature of the blend system was the best.
