移民史研究传统上多倚重典籍史料，近年来又开始重视考古学、文化人类学等方法，音乐学方法在论证移民史方面也可发挥不小的作用。江苏金湖秧歌与苏南吴歌、湖北民歌尤其是“薅草锣鼓”在音乐形态上的紧密联系，从一个侧面证实了金湖地区“洪武赶散”、“湘军屯扎”传言的真实性。%The study of immigration history tends to rely heavily on classics and historical materials in tradition and starts to attach importance to the methods of archaeology and cultural anthropology in recent years ,while musicological methodology has played a role in demonstration of immigration history .Jinhu Yangko has a close relationship with Wu Song of the southern Jiangsu as well as folk songs of Hubei in music morphology ,“weeding gongs”in particular ,which therefore confirms the rumor of “Hongwu immi-gratrion” and“Hunan Army station” in Jinhu area from one side .
