Several important events are described which occurred recently in memory of Professor Chern Shing-sheng. A Chern Hall Was built by Nankai Mathematical Institute in Tianjin, China, 2005, and another by Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkely, USA, 2006. The Chern Medal was granted by International Mathematical Union in 2009 and was first issued at International Mathematician Congress in 2010. The memories of some Chern~s doctorate students were presented.
