The plum vase with “Shangci” inscription in underglaze red in unearthed from the remains of the palace of Ming dynasty. It is a unique product of the Hnngwu Reign,closely connected with Zhu Yuanzhang,the founder of Ming dynasty.It has a legendary story about the early time of Ming dynasty.The inscription is written in red comparatively over white ground.
