常熟彩衣堂彩绘保护研究

摘要

The color painting of Caiyi Tang is an excellent representative for that of south Jiangsu area in the middle and late of Ming Dynasty. That drawing directly on the wood surface is more difficult for protection. This passage provides a successful example on this point: how to improve the ingredients and overcome the problem of fading. Meanwhile, more advanced technique made out better color than that of past.
