On geological data of gas in Xuangang Mine, the paper presents the distribution characteristics of coal seam gas. On this basis, the paper studies major geological factors of gas occurrence. The results show uneven gas distribution. Vertically, gas content increases with the burial depth of coal seam; horizontally, it increases gradually from north to south part and from border to center. While geologic structure, seam burial depth, and hydrogeological condition are the dominant factors of the gas occurrence, the influence of roof and floor rock is limited.%通过轩岗矿区已有瓦斯地质资料,阐述了矿区瓦斯分布特征。在此基础上,分析了影响瓦斯赋存的主要地质因素。结果表明:矿区瓦斯分布具有不均衡性。垂向上,煤层瓦斯含量随煤层埋深加大而升高;横向上,瓦斯含量呈现出北部到南部逐渐增大、边界向腹部逐渐增高的趋势;地质构造、煤层埋藏深度及水文地质条件为瓦斯赋存的主导因素,顶底板岩性影响较为局限。
