The paper introduces steel template and wood template features in construction industry,respectively discusses their defects,de-scribes the origin,development and application of PVC new wood-plastic building template,and points out its advantages such as economy,en-vironmental protection and applicability and so on,which is worth promoting.%介绍了建筑业中钢质模板与木质模板的特点，分别论述了两种模板的缺点，且对PVC新型木塑建筑模板的兴起、发展、应用进行了阐述，并指出PVC新型木塑模板具有经济性、实用性、环保性等优点，值得推广应用。
