The paper introduces the features,categories and functions of garden architecture,analyzes design defects of modern garden architec-ture from two aspects of vertical shape and integral factors,puts forward garden architecture development trend,and finally points out that:gar-den architecture should not only meet architectural utilization demands,but also meet park landscaping demands.%介绍了园林建筑的特点、分类以及作用，从立体造型、融合因素两方面分析了现代园林建筑的设计弊端，并提出了园林建筑的发展趋势，指出园林建筑不但要符合建筑的使用需求，还要符合园林景观在造景方面的需求。
