Three methods of slope protection ( engineering protection, biological protection, and engineering together with biological protection ) are briefly presented. This paper will emphasize the advantages and disadvantages , adaptability and effects of biological protection in slope protection of expressways.%简述了高速公路边坡防护的三种方法（工程防护、植物防护、工程结合植物防护的综合护坡），重点介绍植物护坡在高速公路边坡防护中的优缺点、适应性和作用。
