Objective To investigate the relationships between serum visfatin and activator protein-1 (AP-1), matrix metalloproteinase 2 ( MMP-2 ) in patients with angina pectoris.Methods The serum visfatin, phosphorylated c-Jun, MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were detected in 75 cases of patients with unstable angina pectoris ( UAP group) , 65 cases of stable angina pectoris ( SAP group) and 60 cases of healthy controls ( control group) by using ELISA.Results The serum levels of visfatin, phosphorylated c-Jun, MMP-2, TIMP-2 and the ratio of MMP-2/TIMP-2 in the UAP group were significantly higher than those in the SAP group (all P<0.01).All the parameters mentioned above were higher in the SAP group than those of the control group (all P<0.01).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum visfatin level was positively correlated with phosphorylated c-Jun, MMP-2, TIMP-2 and MMP-2/TIMP-2 ( r=0.662, 0.657, 0.456 and 0.273, re-spectively;all P<0.01) , while phosphorylated c-Jun was positively correlated with MMP-2, TIMP-2 and MMP-2/TIMP-2 (r=0.588, 0.433 and 0.184, respectively;all P<0.05).Conclusion The serum levels of visfatin in patients with an-gina pectoris are significantly increased, and it may lead to the unstability of atherosclerotic plaque through the regulation of MMP-2′s secretion by activating AP-1.%目的：探讨心绞痛患者血清内脂素与激活蛋白-1（AP-1）和基质金属蛋白酶-2（MMP-2）的关系。方法选择不稳定型心绞痛患者（UAP组）75例、稳定型心绞痛患者（SAP组）65例和健康对照组60例，采用ELISA法检测其血清内脂素、磷酸化c-Jun（反映活性AP-1数量）、MMP-2及组织金属蛋白酶抑制因子-2（TIMP-2）的水平。结果 UAP组血清内脂素、磷酸化c-Jun、MMP-2、TIMP-2及MMP-2／TIMP-2均高于SAP组（P均＜0．01）；SAP组上述指标均高于对照组（P均＜0．01）；Pearson相关分析显示心绞痛患者血清内脂素水平与磷酸化c-Jun、MMP-2、TIMP-2及MMP-2／TIMP-2呈正相关（r分别为0．662、0．657、0．456、0．273，P均＜0．01）；磷酸化c-Jun与MMP-2、TIMP-2及MMP-2／TIMP-2呈正相关（r分别为0．588、0．433、0．184，P均＜0．05）。结论心绞痛患者的血清内脂素水平明显升高，其可能通过促进AP-1活化、增加MMP-2分泌而降低冠脉粥样硬化斑块的稳定性。
