[Abstract]Jane Austen once said that women's thoughts changed very rapidly, it's just in a moment that they can jump from admiration to love, and even to marriage. We all faced numerous opportunities to make a choice in our life, and in my opinion, the most important one you made may be when you consider to choose a spouse to marry. Jane Austen's novels not only have been regarded as the classics on this kind of topic but also the manual interpretation for the single female. Her basic theme is related to love and marriage of country gentlemen and women. As a middle-class female with special life experience, she observed the spiritual growth of young men and women in their love and marriage with her keen insight. And then she shows these phenomenons to us in the form of novel, her novels are known for the humorous style, elegant structure and exquisite art of irony. I investigated the social background of that time and Austen's life experience, analyzed her attitude towards the middle-class women's love and marriage through the characters in her works as well as the influences upon the contemporary and future generations.%简·奥斯汀说过：“女人的思维很有跳跃性，从仰慕到爱慕，从爱慕到结婚都是一眨眼的事。”我们每个人一生中都面临着无数的选择，笔者认为最重要的选择就是对配偶的选择，简·奥斯汀的小说在婚恋这一主题上一直被视为经典，甚至被单身女性视为解读婚姻的必修手册。其小说的主题基本都是与乡绅家庭青年男女的爱情与婚姻有关，作为一位有着特别的生活经历的中产阶级上层社会的女子，简·奥斯汀以敏锐的洞察力仔细的观察着她身边的青年女子在恋爱、和婚姻中的精神成长，并以小说的形式把这些现象真实的展现给读者。其作品以幽默的风格、优雅的结构以及精湛的讽刺艺术而闻名。笔者通过对简·奥斯汀所在社会的时代背景以及她个人生平经历等方面的考察，透视其作品中的人物角色并分析了她对于中产阶级女子关于爱情和婚姻的态度，以及她这种婚姻观对于当代和后世所带来的影响。
