In order to find out the current situation, characteristics and main problems in Guangdong university journals, the comprehensive investigations had been made on the management mode, affiliation, mechanism, editor orientation, working style, finance management approach and business circumstance of different kinds of university journals in Guang dong province. In this paper, the practical problems that Guangdong university journals have to confront in publishing sys tem reform were found.
