A Brief Analysis of the Female Images in The Waste Land

摘要

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the female images in T.S.Eliot's masterpiece The Waste Land.They can be classified into two types according to their origins:the women images lent from the literary tradition and those created by Eliot himself.A meticulous study of these female images can enhance the understanding of the theme of the whole poem.
