Obviously, educa-tion is essential to its development. Livelihood education is an important part of the vocational education system in America. It can be said to be an important force in promoting economic de-velopment in the United States. American vocational education is unique in the world. Its livelihood education has a pivotal position in the history of vocational education. Livel ihood education can not only cultivate practical and operating person, but also can promote the development of science, technology and economy, and also can eliminate social contradictions.
