The author's wisdom and humor is manifested by her exquisite description, sharp language and distinctive plot. Many studies have been conveyed and are mainly concentrated in symbol, irony, other rhetorical devices and psychological description of the text. This paper gives a dis-course analysis on the novel under transitivity system and tries to provide a basis for the description of characters from this per-spective.
