在“无用之物”的哲思中提升审美价值的构建

     

摘要

中国古代庄子提出“无用之用”观点,是中国传统美学中对审美价值非功利性的表述,与之一派的西方观点有席勒的“审美无利害关系”。评定“有用”的标准之一,是人在复杂的社会关系中扮演好了所必须的角色,尽责去承担了各种必须承担的责任。那么,他所呈现的结果可以用“有用”来形容,可以定义为一个成功的人。而“无用”,则是当一个人的社会属性减弱时,所显现出的“自我”的特征。或许时常被人定义为无意义的事物,但这些“无用之物”却恰恰最见心见性,提升个人的审美情操。而在如今这个浮躁的社会,人们缺少的恰是这份“宁静致远”的修养,这一命题不仅提升人类的自身审美构建,而且对异化日益严重的现代社会更是有重要的现实意义。%The ancient Chinese Zhuangzi proposed the view of"uselessness", which is a non-utilitarian expression of aesthetic value in traditional Chinese aesthetics, and its Western equiva-lence is Schiller's"disinterested aesthetics". One of the standards to assess"usefulness"is that a person well plays his unshirkable role in a complex social relationship and shoulders various re-sponsibilities that he must shoulder without complaint. Then the result he presents can be described as "usefulness" and he can be defined as a successful person. While"uselessness"is a"self"feature shown when a person's social attributes weaken. Maybe those often defined as meaningless things are precisely the very essence and can enhance a person's aesthetic sentiment. In to-day's fickle society, what people lack is precisely the accom-plishment of"leading a quiet life" which not only improves hu-mans' aesthetic construction, but also has important realistic sig-nificance for the increasingly alienated modern society.
