民俗是指一个国家或民族中广大民众所创造、享用和传承的生活文化.优秀民俗文化的功能就是从民俗文化内容中传达出来的对于社会、族群具有的特殊功用.优秀民俗文化作为中国传统文化的一部分,具有教育、道德规范、稳定、调节、认同、政治和记录的当代功用,这些功用随着社会的进步与发展日渐凸显并受到重视.提高中国文化软实力,推动文化大发展大繁荣,实现从"文化大国"向"文化强国"转变的宏伟蓝图,必须重视优秀民俗文化的保护和传承.%Folklore is the life culture created, enjoyed and inher-ited by the people of a country or a nation. The functions of ex-cellent folk culture are the unique functions for the society and ethnic group carried by the content of folk culture. Excellent folk culture as a part of traditional Chinese culture, has such contem-porary functions, as education, moral regulation, stability, adjust-ment, identification, politics and recording, which are increasing-ly prominent and important with social progress and development. To improve China's cultural soft power, promote cultural devel-opment and prosperity, and achieve the grand blueprint of trans-forming from a"great cultural country"to a"cultural power", we must attach importance to the protection and inheritance of ex-cellent folk culture.
