Its structure was characterized by single crystal XRD and NMR spectroscopy. In aqueous acetonitrile solution,RBr exhibited significant absorbance and fluorescence selectivity for Cu2+ and Fe3+,and there was a good linear relationship between the spectral intensity and ion concentration. The Job’s Plot experiment confirmed that the spirolactam structure of RBr was induced to open upon the coordination of Cu2+/Fe3+,and a 1∶1 metal-probe complex was formed. The absorption intensity of RBr-Cu2+ solution was enhanced under the irradiation of ultraviolet light.
