Reception Aesthetics and Its Enlightenment on Literary Translation

摘要

As a kind of reader-centered paradigm of literary research,reception aesthetics studies the reception effects of the text,which is a shift of the focus of literary criticism from the relation between the author and the text to the relation between the text and the reader.Based on the enlightenment of reception aesthetics on literary translation,the translator—the reader of the original text as well as the author of the translated text—must take the reader’s“horizon of expectations”into consideration during the process of translation,so as to reach the“fusion of horizons”to the largest extent.
