Quest for Self—An Interpretation of Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club

Based on the text analysis of Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club this dissertation tries to prove that Amy Tan uses this semi-autobiographical novel as attempted quests for her identity in American society and tries to understand her own relationship with her mother.
