旅游标识语英译的语用失误及其翻译策略 ——以青岛大珠山景区为例

     

摘要

Tourism sign stands for the level of local tourism culture, and its translation is also very important to attract foreign tour-ists. However, due to ignorance of the cultural differences between Chinese and English, there are still pragmatic mistakes in tour-ism sign translation. To bring the tourism signs into full play and reproduce the original beauty of sound, translators should take the translation strategy in a flexible way with the view of cross-culture and the features of scenic spot.%旅游标识语代表着当地的旅游文化发展水平,其英译更是向外国游客展示该城市形象的一张重要名片.但由于译者忽视中西文化的差异,许多景区旅游标识语的英译或多或少存在拼写、语法、逻辑等方面的语用失误.为充分发挥标识语的信息传递作用,译者应从跨文化角度出发,结合景区特点,灵活采用转换法、删除法等翻译技巧,尽量重现原文的音律美.
