The Implication of Interlanguage Theory in Reading Course

     

摘要

Reading competence is important for second language learners, but many learners fail to move along the Interlanguage continuum of reading smoothly. This paper tries to explore the possible ways to help students to improve their reading competence by employing the Interlanguage theory in reading course. Based on the five central processes that may lead to fossilization of sec-ond language learning, the paper tries to find out ways to solve the problems.
