Semiconductor lasers are widely used in the optical fiber sensing, optical communications and so on. Laser frequency is affected by the surrounding environment, as the communication illuminant frequency floating will waste bandwidth and limits the long distance sensor applications. So the stability of semiconductor laser frequency is very important.
