It systematically summarizes the enhancedsensitivity and encapsulation protection of fiber grating. The paper points out some shortages, development direction and application prospects of the fiber grating also systematically reviews the fiber smatr structure and smart metal structure and their applications. In addition, the article also studies the existing difficulties in the research together with the application prospects.
