Abstract In this article we briefly studied the fictitious domain methods for steady and nonsteady Navier-Stokes equations based on Penalty factorεon the extended domain. The convergence u?→u in H01（Ω）d and L2（Ω）d（d=2,3） is given as well as p?→p in L02（Ω）.
