一种基于3D_DCT变换的彩色图像压缩方法

     

摘要

介绍了一种新的基于三维离散余弦变换的彩色图像压缩方法。该方法把彩色图像看作是一种三维信号,通过三维离散余弦变换,不仅去除了图像 R、G、B 分量内的相关性,同时能够去除 R、G、B 分量之间的相关性,因此,在保留图像质量的同时,能够达到更高的压缩率。另外,该方法还具有简单、速度快等优点。实验表明,这是一种好的压缩方法。%In this paper , a new method of color image compression base on 3D_DCT is proposed by analyzing the correlation of R , G , B components of a color image . It regards a color image as a 3D signal and with the 3D_DCT , the correlation of the R , G , B components and the correlation between the R , G , B components in the image is greatly reduced . As a result , this method has a higher compression ratio on the premise of remaining the image quality . Further more , some advantages such as simple , fast speed are achieved by this method . Experiments show that it is a good color image compression algorithm .
