基质金属蛋白酶12在心血管疾病中的研究进展

     

摘要

基质金属蛋白酶12(MMP-12),也被称为人巨噬细胞弹性蛋白酶,属含锌的内肽酶家族,参与多种生理过程,如血管重塑、纤维蛋白溶酶原的代谢、呼吸道炎症及重塑等.病理状态下MMP-12参与腹主动脉瘤、动脉粥样硬化、肺气肿、肿瘤、类风湿性关节炎、肝及肺纤维化等疾病的发生与发展.现就MMP-12在心血管疾病中的作用、机制与临床意义予以综述.%Matrix metalloproteinase-12 ( MMP-12 ), also known as human macrophage elastase, belongs to a family of zinc-dependent endopeptidases,which is involved in many physiological processes such as the vascular remodeling, conversion of plasminogen into angiostatin, development of respiratory inflammation and remodeling. MMP-12 also participate in pathological processes such as abdominal aortic aneurysm, atherosclerosis,emphysema, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis,liver and lung fibrosis. This article provides a brief review of the mechanism and clinical significance of MMP-12 in cardiovascular diseases.
