Objective To explore the reduction effect of rigid internal fixation combined with intermaxillary trac-tion in treatment of multiple fracture of jaw. Methods A total of 157 patients with jaw fractures during February 2001 and December 2009 were divided into rigid internal fixation group (group A, n=77) and rigid internal fixation combined with intermaxillary traction group (group B, n=80), and the reduction effects of the two groups were observed. Results The difference in fineness rate of solitary fracture reduction was not statistically significant (P>0. 05). The fineness rate of multiple fracture of jaw in group B was significantly higher than that in group A (P<0. 05). Conclusion The method of rigid internal fixation combined with intermaxillary traction in treatment of multiple fracture of jaw is very effective.%目的：探讨坚强内固定联合颌间牵引对颌骨多发性骨折的复位效果。方法2001年2月-2009年12月对收治的157例颌骨骨折按手术方式分为坚强内固定组77例和坚强内固定术联合颌间牵引组80例，观察两组骨折复位效果。结果两组颌骨单发性骨折复位优良率比较差异无统计学意义(P>0．05)。颌骨多发性骨折坚强内固定联合颌间牵引组复位优良率高于坚强内固定组(P<0．05)。结论坚强内固定联合颌间牵引治疗颌骨多发性骨折具有良好的效果。
