目的：探讨水激光治疗老年根面龋的优势。方法86例老年根面龋患者共98颗患牙，随机分为2组：实验组50颗采用水激光技术制洞，光敏复合体直接充填；对照组48颗采用传统涡轮机制洞、酸蚀、光敏复合体充填。观察两组治疗后6、12个月疗效。结果治疗6个月后，实验组充填物脱落2颗，继发龋1颗；对照组充填物脱落5颗，继发龋2颗，牙髓炎1颗。实验组成功率94．0％，对照组成功率83．3％，两组比较差异无统计学意义。治疗12个月后，实验组充填物失败5颗，对照组充填物失败12颗，包括继发龋、牙髓炎、根尖炎或出现明显缝隙。实验组成功率90．0％，高于对照组（75．0％），两组比较差异有统计学意义（χ2＝6．25，P＜0．05）。结论水激光治疗老年根面龋较传统方法有明显优势，充填体不易脱落。%Objective To evaluate the waterlase chemo-mechanical technique for the treatment of tooth caries in elderly pa-tients.Methods According to the randomly sampling principle , a retrospective clinical data of our records of elderly patients with caries, were divided into two groups:50 patients in treatment group A , treated with the waterlase chemo-mechanical method;and 48 patients in the control group B , treated with the conventional method .The therapeutic effect was evaluated after 6.Results Among the 50 cases in A group , two fillings fell off and one secondary caries occurred , with the curative rate of 90.0%.Among the 48 cases in B group, eight fillings fell off and four secondary caries occurred , with the curative rate of 75.0%.The difference between those of the treatment group and those of the control group was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions The waterlase chemo-mechanical technique for elderly patients is effective .The perspective in application is significant and worthy of clinical promotion .
