%Objective:To observe the effect of Waterlow score for critically ill patients with grading nursing role in reducing the incidence of pressure sores, and explore its clinical applicability.Method: 200 cases of critically ill from February 2012 to August 2014 in our hospital were treated , two groups of patients were treated with Waterlow score for risk stratification, according to the nursing program, they were divided into the study group and the control group, the control group were treated with conventional care regimens for care, the study group were treated with grading nursing care programs. The Waterlow assessment and risk stratification circumstances were observed and compared, different degree of risk incidence of pressure ulcers situation of the two groups were observed.Result: Compared the two groups with table Waterlow assessment for risk stratification of patients, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Two groups with non-hazardous, low-risk persons incidence of pressure sores were basic line, the differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05), high-risk patients, extremely dangerous incidence of the study group were significantly lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The study group of patients with care satisfaction was significantly higher than the control group , The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion: The effect of Waterlow score for critically ill patients with grading nursing role in reducing the incidence of pressure sores is significantly, the prognosis is good, and it is suitable for primary clinical application.
