This paper summarizes the breed formation and beef characteristics of Yanbian yellow cattle and the current situation of slaughtering and processing in Yanbian Prefecture, northeast China’s Jilin Province, and analyzes some factors limiting the development of Yanbian yellow cattle. This review will provide directions for future development of this industry in Yanbian.%综述了延边黄牛品种形成及特点和延边黄牛屠宰加工的研究现状,分析了制约延边黄牛产业发展的因素,为今后延边黄牛产业的发展提供了合理的方向。
