In present China, people are unprecedentedly enthusiastic about recreation. Chinese style recreation has transformed rapidly from individual behaviors to group activities, touring from one place to another. The changes of recreation reflect both Chinese social phenomena and cultural values of the Chinese people in the course of rapid urbanization. Chinese people are getting more and more leisure time, and recreation becomes one of the living styles for most of them. The function of recreation has changed greatly in present-day China, resulting in the change of relationship between labor and recreation.%在当前的中国，人们对休闲倾注了前所未有的热情和关注。中国式休闲已从零散化的个体选择迅速地演变成一种群体性的迁移行动。休闲所发生的种种演变，既是中国当前特殊社会现实的一种折射，也是日益扩大的城市化进程中大众文化价值观的一种反映。随着人们对自由时间拥有量的增加，休闲成为多数人的生活方式。休闲的功能在当代中国发生了巨大的转变，与此同时，劳动与休闲的关系也发生了逆转。
