193nm激光脉冲空气电离及导电特性研究

     

摘要

193 nm UV laser pulses induced air ionization and the plasma channel conductivity caused by the pulses were investigated experimentally. The ionization threshold of 193 nm laser pulses is found to be about 9. 58 x 109 W/cm2. A plasma conducting channel about 2 meters long with a resistance of 109 Ω in magnitude was established with nanosecond 193 nm UV laser pulses. The lifetime of the plasma channel is about 30 μs.%实验研究了193 nm激光脉冲空气电离及其形成的等离子体导电通道导电特性,采用闪光法测得193 nm激光脉冲空气电离阈值约为9.58×109 W/cm2,用单脉冲能量约145 mJ的纳秒级193 nm紫外激光脉冲在实验室空气中建立了长度约2m的等离子体导电通道,实验测得通道的等效电阻值可达109Ω量级,通道导电寿命约为30μs.
