碳纳米管被动锁模光纤激光器的研究进展

         

摘要

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)used as passively mode-locked medium have attracted much attention in ultrafast fiber laser. Advantages include ultrafast recovery time of absorption, high nonlinearity, simplicity of fabrication, low cost, broadband operation,compatibility with fiber, device flexibility. CNT-based satuiable absorbers have been successfully realized in different laser structures,such as solid state,waveguide and fiber-type. The paper gives an introduction of the research progress concerning passively mode-locked ultrafast fiber laser,especially those utilize CNTs as the saturable absorbers.%单壁碳纳米管(SWCNTs)作为被动锁模材料具有许多优点:恢复时间快(<1 ps)、饱和光强低、制各处理容易、成本低、工作光谱范围宽、化学稳定性好、与光纤兼容等,在超快激光器方面引起了人们的极大兴趣,并成功应用于固体、波导和光纤被动锁模激光器.本文对被动锁模超短脉冲光纤激光器的研究进展进行了综述,特别是对以单壁碳纳米管为非线性可饱和吸收体的被动锁模光纤激光器进行了总结.
