在诗歌的格律和音韵的运用上,埃米莉诗歌艺术有继承传统的一面,也有其独到之处。她的诗歌多是其感情即时迸发和智慧瞬间闪烁的体现,因而内容凝练,篇幅短小,格律简洁有力,节奏明快,富于音乐的跳跃性。在音韵方面,埃米莉主要采用尾韵的方法,以此加强语音的重复对比,谐振共鸣,产生萦回之美,增强音乐性。%As to poetic rules and forms of her poems,Emily Bront■ on one hand inherits some techniques from the traditional ones and on the other hand she develops some of her own.Her poems are mostly prompt ebullition of her emotion and instant sparkling of her wisdom.Thus the content is condensed,the length is short,the rhythm is concise and powerful,and the cadence is forthright,which is full of musical leaping and jumping.In rhyme,she mainly uses end rhymes to strengthen the repeat and contrast of the sounds,which achieve resonance,and produce the beauty of lingering and tone up the musical features.
