教育之适应与超越

摘要

教育是超越社会还是适应社会，关键是看教育能不能成为主动地改造外部社会的力量。在这个问题上，历史中的教育家有不同的理论选择，柏拉图认为教育应该成为改造社会的力量，而亚里士多德认为教育应该为维持社会的现状服务，在实践中，教育是适应社会，还是超越社会，经常是社会权力选择的结果。%Whether education can be a force of transformation or not ismainly responsible for its tendency to transcend or to adapt for the society. Plato considered education a force to reform, while Aristotle regarded it as a service to maintain the status quo, both with a great many followers. In practice, education, to transcend or to adapt for the society, is often the result of choice from social authorities.
