“我慢”一词在汉日语中的流布与意义变迁

摘要

From the perspective of semantic history, this paper explores the evolution of ＂Wo Man＂ in Chinese and Japanese languages. It finds that ＂Wo Man＂ first appeared as a Buddhist term both in ancient Chinese and Japanese languages. However, compared to the relatively stable condition of its meaning and us- age in Chinese, Japanese ＂Wo Man＂ extended its semantic meaning and emotional functions in Heian peri- od, as well as enriched its usage.%从词汇史的角度来观察“我慢”在汉语和日语中的演变，“我慢”是以佛教语面目出现在古汉语和古日语中，但相对于汉语中的“我慢”意义、用法基本稳定不变，日语中的“我慢”则在江户时代词义、情感色彩得到了扩展，用法上也有所丰富。
