在中国典籍的外译与传播方面，西方汉学家作出了重要贡献。西方汉学家弘扬了中华文化，沟通了中西文明，对西方思想界和文化界产生了深远影响，然而他们在翻译实践中也面临着语言、文化差异等问题。政府部门组织和协调典籍翻译的相关工作、设立国家层面的奖励和资助机制，以及加强对典籍翻译理论的研究和中外翻译人才的培养则是解决上述问题，进一步发挥典籍外译助推中国文化走出去作用的有效路径。%Sinologists play a significant role in the translation and introduction of Chinese classics to the outside world. Their painstaking efforts and outstanding achievements contribute to the transmission of Chi⁃nese culture and the advancement of Western civilization. However,due to linguistic,cultural and ideological differences,some problems arise in the process of translating Chinese classics. Effective remedies should be adopted which include:1) encouraging government and institutions to sponsor and coordinate the translation;2) giving special awards and financial assistance to the project;3) conduct academic research in this field and intensify the training of domestic and foreign translators.
