With all the territory located in the tropical,the culture in Leizhou has continuous distribu-tion,consistent development process,common cultural trait and style,consistent development level and stable cultural center,etc.,therefore it shall be named as Leizhou culture.〞Leizhou Subgroup〞 shall be formed correspondingly,and added to four Lingnan subgroups.Leizhou culture has cultural essences such as tropical agriculture,ocean,honest and upright officials,unique custom,dispersal,literature and art. Powerful measures shall be adopted to protect,inherit and carry forward Leizhou culture,and make it serve the construction of socialist material and spiritual civilization.%雷州文化概念应由其地域全在热带范围内，分布连片，有一致发展过程、共同的文化特质和风格，一致的发展水平和稳定的文化中心等整合而成，应定名为雷州文化。与此相应，形成“雷州民系”，加入岭南四大民系之列。雷州文化具有热带农业、海洋、清官廉吏、独特风俗、流寓和文学艺术等文化精华，应采取有力措施，加以保护传承和发扬光大，为社会主义物质文明和精神文明建设服务。
