'以顿代步'——似是而非的英诗汉译格律移植策略

As a well received norm of English-Chinese metrical poetry translation,"Pause Corresponding to Foot"aims at meter corresponding and genre transplanting,ignoring the formal,functional and semantic unequivalence between the two different rhythm units-"pause"in Chinese modern poetry and"foot"in English poetry-for the fact that Chinese pause is the basic practical unit combining both phonetic and semantic functions while English foot is only a theoretical unit commonly separating semantic from phonetic functionTherefore,"Pause Corresponding to Foot"is a specious strategy for metrical transplanting before a more reasonable and practical strategy is proven,developed on another type of rhythm units'equivalence.%"以顿代步"作为英语格律诗汉译的常用规范,旨在实现格律对应和诗体移植,然而,现代汉诗的"顿"是实际话语的兼顾语音和语义的节奏单位,英诗的"步"却是形式分析的割裂语义的节奏单位,二者不存在形式上和功能上的对等,也无从谈起意义容量上的相当,因而,"以顿代步"很难实现理想的格律移植,应该探索基于其他节奏单位对等的格律移植策略.
