论唐君毅的自杀观

摘要

Based on his experiences of suicidal thoughts , TANG Jun-yi thinks that one of the main causes of suicide is the finiteness of life , as it causes the ideals which could not be realized or two equally signifi-cant ideals which could not be achieved at the same time .The suicide that risks one ’ s life for the sake of his two significant ideals is of moral value .Whereas the failure to suicide would make him understand more a-bout the value of life .The logotherapy in Confucianism could make suicides realize “being towards death”and rebuilt their new life goals .%唐君毅根据“屡欲自戕”的自杀体验，认为自杀主要源自人的身心的有限性而导致无法实现其理想或不能同时实现两种同样好的理想。为同时完成两种理想而不惜生命，这种尽道存心的自杀是具有道德价值的。自杀的失败让人更能够领悟生命的价值，儒学的意义治疗能够使自杀者实现“向死而生”，重新建立新的人生观。
