This paper elaborates on the evolution of the means of information transmission and the development of modem education technology to prove the inevitable relation between the development of modem science and technology and that of modem education technolo%主要阐述了信息传播方式的进化与演变，现代教育技术的发展与演化，现代科学技术发展与现代教育技术发展的必然关系．从20世纪30年代电化教育概念的提出，到40年代第一套语言实验室的诞生，以及80年代语言实验室的普及与视频技术发展对现代教育带来的巨大影响，电化教育与网络技术的有机化结合演化为网络多媒体模式的网络教育．
