The Story of the Sparrow Terjei,the son of Sparrow Serjei has two variations,one consists of four chapters:Sparrow Serjei,Sparrows War,Bird's Wedding ceremony,and the Bird Wars;the other version,Sparrow Terjei,is composed of 900-words.Comparing the Bird epic with other animal epics,Mongolian heroic epics,and other folk stories,the paper demonstrated the unified nature of Mongolian heroic epics and the uniqueness of bird epics.Indeed,albeit inheriting certain aspects of other animal epics,heroic epics,and myths,the bird epic has its characteristics and needs further study.
