The Yuwen Tribe(宇文)had an important impact on ancient Chinese history, affecting the development of the situation in the Northeast in the early Sixteen Kingdoms period, and establishing the Northern Zhou Dynasty in the late Northern Dynasty, not only unifying northern China, but also laying the foundation for the great unification of the Sui Dynasty. The composition of the Yuwen tribe was relatively complex, which is also a typical example of the blending and development history of northern ethnic groups in ancient China. Therefore, taking the internal clan structure of the Yuwen Tribe as a starting point for research, some new insights will be gained, especially the key to exploring the core clans Sifen(侯汾)and Payetou(破野头)of the Yuwen Tribe. After reviewing and judging the relevant records in Chinese historical materials and multilingual documents,it is believed that the names Sifen(侯汾)and Poyetou(破野头)were respectively the Kehelin(客赫邻)and Bayagut(巴牙惕)in the Mongolian and Yuan Dynasties, namely the Bayagut clan on the grassland; The original meaning of the word Yuwen(宇文)is the tribal leader Lord, which is also the Magalig surname recorded in the Secret History of the Mongols.
