影响新升本科院校学生英语阅读策略使用因素的调查

     

摘要

在用问卷对贵州省554名新升本科学校大学生英语阅读策略使用的情况进行调查的基础上,探讨了影响学生阅读策略使用的因素。描述统计(StatisticDescription)分析结果表明,新升本科高校大学生阅读策略使用频率不高,使用策略意识不强;独立样本t检验(Independent.SamplesT-Tests)结果显示,课外阅读量大小影响学生阅读策略的使用,课外阅读量不同的学生对阅读策略的使用存在显著差畀,前者比后者更善于使用阅读策略;通过卡方检验(Chi—squareTests),研究者找出了25项存在显著差异的策略。%By distributing questionnaire, the present research investigated 554 students of three newly upgraded universities of Guizhou province in terms of knowing about their English reading strategy employment, as well as explored effective factors related to students' reading strategy employment. The descriptive statistics results revealed that the subjects' reading strategy employment fall into moderate use level, and they had weak awareness of using reading strategies. The independent-samples t-tests results indicated that significant variation of strategy use was found between students who read English extensively and students who read English intensively, the results also revealed that extensive reading was a factor effected students' reading strategy employment. Significant variations were found in 25 individual strategies through Chi-square tests.
