沿河土家族山歌中多处运用了汉语常见的辞格，如比喻、反复、排比、夸张、拟人、对偶、借代、层递、叠字等。这些辞格的运用，使山歌语言更加形象生动，情感表达也更为丰富。%The figure of speech in folk songs of Yanhe Tujia nationality, for instance, simile, repetition, parallelism, hyperbole, personification, antithesis, metonymy, gradation, reiterative and so on is commonly used in Chinese. With these kinds of figure of speech, the folk songs become more vivid and emotional.
