罪与罚：反思艾希曼审判——读汉娜·阿伦特《耶路撒冷的艾希曼》

在《耶路撒冷的艾希曼》一书中，阿伦特以“恶的平庸性”来刻画艾希曼及他所代表的极权主义恶行，认为艾希曼作恶是出于“无思”。这一论断不仅与耶路撒冷法庭控辩双方发生冲突，而且与传统对恶的理解发生抵牾，引起了巨大争议。通过对“恶的平庸性”及相关争议的澄清，我们才能更好地了解阿伦特的本意。%In Eichmann in Jerusalem, Arendt used totalitarian evil. She thought Eichmann do evil because conflicted with both the prosecutor and the defense in ＂the banality of evil＂ to characterize Eichmann and of his ＂thoughtlessness＂ . This conclusion not only Jerusalem court, but also contradicted the traditional understanding of evil, therefore brought about great controversies. Through the clarification of ＂the banality of evil＂ and related controversies, we can know Arendt better.
