《美国文学》教学中20世纪西方文论的导入

             

摘要

《美国文学》为国内各高校英语专业本科生的必修课,然而在讲授此课程时,重心往往放在了作家背景、作品的解释上,而对于文学理论,尤其是20世纪西方文论,却鲜有提及。鉴于文学与文学理论之间的密不可分的互生关系,同时也是为了让学生更深人系统的了解文学,我们有必要在讲授相关文学作品时导入形式主义、新批评、结构主义、精神分析、现象学、后现代主义等相关的西方文学理论。这无疑有利于提高学生的理论水平和文学批评素养。%As the compulsory course for English majors in Chinese universities, American Literature is u- sually taught for the learning of background and explanation of the important writers and their literaryworks, while the literary theory of 20th century has seldom been spoken of. Since literature and literary theory are closely related, and meanwhile literary theory can provide a different and deep understanding of the literary works for the students, it is necessary for us to teach them such basic literary theories as for- malism, new criticism, structuralism, psychoanalysis, phenomenology, postmodemism and so on. Thiscan definitely benefit the students in their theory level and criticism accomplishment.
