The admission of Western culture to Modem China underwent a continual development of three peri- ods ranging from the material culture in Westernization Movement, the institutional culture in Wu Hsu Reform to the spiritual culture in the May 4th Movement. The modernization of Wushu almost followed suit. But nowa- days the predicament with the modernization of Wushu has aroused the reflection on westernization as well as the call for localization. Wulin Assembly adheres to the concept of protecting the essence of Kungfu and demonstrating the true facet of Wulin, in which the three main forms of Wushu, namely, form, tussle and Kung- fu, are blended with one another. Undoubtedly, the successful operation of Wushu Masters Association （WMA） as a contractual enterprise will provide a reference for the market operation of Chinese national sports industry.
